Recipients

The course is aimed at all persons who intend to access the certification process of Internal Auditor Corporate Social Responsibility-IACSR and at professionals and organisations that intend to implement a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Management System or that intend to use the audit tool as a means of verifying the effectiveness of their Corporate Social Responsibility Management System and/or for the selection, evaluation and monitoring of their suppliers.

Objectives

To provide participants with the technical and specialised knowledge and to develop the practical skills required to conduct internal audits related to Corporate Social Responsibility Management Systems and in accordance with ISO 19011.

The course has recently been updated taking into account the current regulatory framework and the work of the UNI/CT 038/GL 03 Group - Social Responsibility - Application Guidelines (in compliance with the code of ethics of the UNI Technical Committee).

The 2-day module is entirely dedicated to the practical application of how to plan, execute and present audit results.

The exercises are based on case studies by participants organised in working groups. The cases consist of the analysis of the description of portions of the audit that include both deficiencies in the design and implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility Management System and deficiencies in the behaviour of the assessors. The non-conformities, observations and contents of the final audit report will be discussed collectively under the guidance of the lecturers.

The final presentation of the results by the working groups will also be simulated.

To provide participants with basic knowledge on audit management according to the UNI EN ISO 19011 standard, by engaging them in practical exercises and case studies, in order to familiarise them with how to plan and conduct audits and how to present the results to the assessor's management;
Provide reminders on the rules of behaviour of the evaluator and elements on how to improve communication techniques with key stakeholders.

Structure

Duration: 8 hours - from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., for a total of 16 hours spread over the two scheduled days.

Location: Zoom digital platform.

The afternoon of the last day will be devoted to final examinations.

Attendance is compulsory in order to take the final examinations.

Exams

The examination takes place on the afternoon of the last day and aims to ascertain the level of learning of the topics covered during the course. It consists of two written tests:

• the first one consists of answering in written form a questionnaire aimed at ascertaining the applicative knowledge of the standards on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and UNI EN ISO 19011;

• the second consists of the evaluation of a company case study in which the candidate has to identify and formalise CSR non-conformities and draw up the final audit report.

The results of the examination will be evaluated and made available at the secretariat within 15 days of the examination date.

If the examination is passed, an ERCA - recognised certificate for the certification of Internal Auditor Corporate Social Responsibility-IACSR will be issued.

Enrolment modalities

1. The course enrolment form must be completed and handed in or sent by e-mail to Newcert S.r.l. at least one week before the start of the course (closing date for enrolments), together with a copy of the fee payment receipt. Registrations after this date will only be accepted if places are available;

2. Any cancellations must be notified in writing by fax or e-mail (please retain confirmation of receipt) no later than three working days prior to the course start date. For cancellations received after this deadline or in the event of non-participation, the full course fee will be charged. It is possible to replace the participant with a colleague, in which case notice must be given at least one day before the start of the course;

3. The participation fee entitles the participant to the teaching material and to receive an original copy of the reference standard;

4. The course may be cancelled for reasons of force majeure and if the minimum number of bookings has not been reached by the time enrolment closes. In this case, any registration fees paid will be refunded;

5. A certificate of attendance will be issued in recognition of participation in the course;

6. For courses for which a final examination is foreseen, a specific certificate will be issued if passed.
